Official Title of Legislation: A bill to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 23-7.4:01, relating to denial of in-state tuition and certain other postsecondary educational benefits for illegal aliens.
Highlights: - Prevents undocumented immigrants from receiving any “postsecondary educational benefit” that is awarded exclusively to in-state students (sec. 1).
- Allows schools to award benefits to undocumented immigrants that are available to other out-of-state students (sec. 1).
